All options in Internet Explorer are controlled through one menu. You can get to this menu by going to Tools > Internet Options. There can change your default home page (General Tab), which connection Internet Explorer uses (Connections), which programs Windows tries to use for Email/News/Web Browsing (Programs) and other options like Javascript and Java, Cookies and Security Settings.
To establish a Dial-Up Networking connection for Internet Explorer to use to connect to the internet select Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Setup and enter the following information:
- Select the Third Option - "I want to setup my connection manually."
- Select the First Option - "I connect through a phone line and a modem."
- Select your modem from the drop down list
- Enter the phone number you will be dialing with no spaces or dash (-)
- Uncheck the Use area code and dialing rules box
- Enter your username
- Enter your password
- Enter a name for your connection (neXband)
- Skip the Email Setup Wizard
After the connection is setup, you can access it by opening Internet Explorer, selecting Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Settings.
